most expensive thing you own which isnt a house or a car?

The wife's Brompton electric bike, piece of overpriced junk that it is, I guess that's my wife's but then I bought it.

I've just renewed my PC, cordless keyboard and mouse and monitor' so they are The greatest value presently. Prior to that it would have been individual trade tools...compound saw, breaker etc.
Does an Ethan Mason smooth calibrated patio count.....

A motor cycle (?)
Y'askin me? "A" implies one; it would be "a few", they sort of come and go. I don't take pics of them. One of the messy gges:

nothing really appreciating in value

probably apple laptop @£1500 single item
camera and kit i no longer use around £2000, but worth much less now 2nd hand
platinum ring, £1200 when purchased 20years ago - so who knows value now.

Ercol Settee purchased 3/4seater & 2 seater before covid , cant remember the price 2-3K, but worth much less now 2nd hand

re-upholstered a very old wingback chair in quality leather - £1300

garage full of tools, purchased a lot of Dewalt gear in 2018-20 , probably around the 2K mark, but worth much less now 2nd hand

difficult to find much else

various paintings my wife has - purchased as presents by her dad - £500+ each , have 2 of those.

nothing else , as i remember any single item over £5,000 had to be named for insurance contents , and one quote wanted £2,500 and we could not really think of anything.

Looks 4 or 5mm out of level?

Wife and I bought each other Rolexes for anniversary about ten years back. God knows why, I don't even wear a watch and I've hardly ever worn the Rolex. However, we had them valued for insurance and I was pretty amazed to discover that mine had tripled in value and wife's even more - because hers is gold. Mine is more or less unworn Explorer ii with black dial and in the condition is a pretty rare beast apparently.

It scares me to think what my mancave/workshop has cost to accumulate over the years, even if it is disappearing bit by bit as it slowly migrates its way to my sons house.

Not really an object as such, but my biggest single purchase nowadays is the annual family holiday, where I whisk 'em all off to a holiday cottage for a week of rest & relaxation <snort>. Last years budget was £10k which I might increase slightly this year.
