Stormzy scholarship

I don't disagree with you. But this against all of us. Not only if you are black
But if your chances of getting into the elite schools in the first place is made more difficult (whether you be black or a white working class kid), then the system is loaded against you!

So if you happen to want to increase the chances of black kids or white working class kids getting over the barriers, that isn't 'racist'...

It's simply an attempt to redress the balance for those who have the dices loaded against them from day one simply because of who they are/how the 'elite' perceive them to be!

Your correct but it not because of colour!

Therefore we go all the way back to the beginning and we can knock the idiotic claim of 'racism' on the head - yet again!

And another case of contradiction is proven :)

Have a scheme for poor, deprived, short, fat etc or even for people living in certain post codes. Make it about skin colour and reject an applicant based on colour and its slam dunk.

It also about the predilection or propensity of black students applying.
It would be extremely difficult to ascertain that poor, deprived, short, fat etc, were not applying, or not succeeding at gaining places at certain establishments. As perceived by the probable applicants.
But it is extremely easy to identify the sparsity (or otherwise) of black students, or students of any nationality, disabled, gender, etc.
Additionally, of course poor, deprived, short, fat etc are not yet protected characteristics. Nationality, ethnicity, or gender are one of the protected characteristics.

So it is a misnomer to suggest that colour is an over-riding priority than the other protected characteristics.

By all means, continue to moan about the Positive Action consequences of race/colour/nationality/ethnicity.
But if you do so while conveniently ignoring the other protected characteristics, the deduction is obvious.

I really hope that one day "colour" will be forgotten. Forgetting all the tit for tat on here, offering something to blacks only, whites only or fookin pink people with green dicks only, is only prolonging the difference that isn't really a difference.

Anybody who conducts themselves well are dressed well speaks well get on in life.
All to the BBC standard get

It's not colour it's the way you present yourself. Your not going to get a job reading the news if you speak like Danny Dyer.

Funny how it's only become an issue since being offered to blacks only. No wonder those privileged whites are feeling disgruntled. How dare those black people!

Your a Hypocrite

That's hardly true, is it?

I think it has been an issue the other way round for quite some time.

As with all emancipation, the solution should not come with carte blanche to do the reverse - although it does seem to be the case.

It could be looked at similarly to men and women.

Women want equality; fair enough - so no women only shortlists, then, and no women only clubs etc.
