Boris said he was going to introduce them specifically for nightclubs when things were relaxed if vaccination levels were not high enough in the age groups that tend to use them by the end of this month. Essentially he expected them to use negative tests for entry. They just said no.
It's odd really as various businesses have reacted differently to the end of restrictions. Some are doing similar things as they did. Some aren't. A shop I use took the screens down. This weekend they were back up again so suppose one of their staff tested positive or.............
As always the numbers of infected increase with decreasing age. Loads in the young but some of that will be down to jobs.

If they find that infections are on the increase for those frequenting those places there’s only two alternatives. Close them or make them as safe as possible. Only way to keep them open with some degree of safety is to mandate that they can only be used by fully vaccinated. I don’t see a problem with that.

You then catch it 1 hour after the test, which makes you even more dangerous.

Does having the jab stop you getting it or spreading it?
Same as a flu jab. It can make you less likely to catch it so there’s less chance of passing it on. If you do catch it, you may not be hospitalised or die.
Didn't someone on here say that vaccine passports were to protect the UNvaccinated by preventing them getting into virus infested venues full of vaccinated people transmitting covid?

I am going to a business conference this week, which seems a bit crazy, but we're trying to get back to normalish.
To get in you have to have a negative test in the morning that is recorded and confirmed by NHS app.
Vaccine passports won't stop the spread, only stopping infected people mixing with non-infected people will do that.
But it is a good move all the same, as you want to encourage people to get vaccinated to help beat the virus into submission. Vaccinated people can catch it, but young and healthy ones will kill the virus before it takes holds, so isn't spread further.

So after forcing everyone to be vaccinated to try and slow the infection rate, what next, forcibly sterilizing people who can pass on debilitating hereditary diseases and syndromes ?
Everyone has not been forced to be vaccinated.
