Vaccine passports beginning this month.

So, you happily go around knowing that you might be carrying the virus, refusing the vaccine, not wearing a mask.

We're never going to beat this virus if there are "plenty" of people agreeing with you. But at least most of us won't die now.

Where is this 'plentiful' supply of doctors and virologists that say that vaccines are a waste of time and that Covid is no more than a case of influenza?
Funnily enough...

"Covid jabs will not end the pandemic and leaders should prepare to adjust their vaccine strategy to deal with the virus in the long-term, the World Health Organization's director for Europe has warned.
Dr Hans Kluge said new strains of Covid will continue to emerge and the virus will remain with us like the flu."

'If we consider that Covid will continue to mutate and remain with us, the way influenza is, then we should anticipate how to gradually adapt our vaccination strategy to endemic transmission and gather really precious knowledge about the impact of additional jabs."

In another words don't jump in again without the relevant data!

I think there is a phrase for you...

'Stupid is as stupid does'!

They agree with me, that vaccines are useful and it isn't as mild as the flu. After all they're not saying we should be abandoning vaccines are they?

Sensible. Just like any other mutating virus. I have had my first of many flu jabs. I have also been double jabbed from the killer Covid 19 virus.

Happy days.

... our vaccination strategy ...
Which has at its heart people being vaccinated.

Not people like you who are happy to see other people dying as an acceptable price to pay for you to be allowed to promote your apalling ideology.

So do tell...

Where have I said I am happy to 'see people die'?

And then tell us that jabbed people can't spread the 'virus'?

What is appalling is that the concept of individual thought is receding in so many, and the idea that someone should be able to choose what goes into their own body is somehow no longer valid!

Rabid vaxxers en masse seem to have taken on an almost Mengele type of personality, namely calling for a mandatory medical experiment to be extended to all !

You have no concept of history do you.

That is what people like you just can't get your head around. It is not an experiment any more than a number of vaccines that are routinely used. In fact the trials are more extensive than some of them. Even more so now due to shear numbers. The AZ and some others are a virus. The m in mRNA stands for messenger and does some of what a virus does. All types do the same. Some virus ar RNA types.

Mutations. Bit of a media problem. Incomplete information. They get concerned about changes to the spike protein. It's the part that allows the virus to do it's work. It's the bit that sticks to and allows it to infuses humans cells and replicate itself. The Indian variant is an example of why changes concern them. It's more efficient than the Kent variant we had before. Acts more quickly etc. It's 97% similar to a bat virus of no concern to us. Change too much and this one wouldn't be either.

It's evolution really. A more infective virus will come out on top. A less infective one will die out. All need the spike protein to do it's stuff - a particular version of that binds to our cells. Other virus have similar and can't infect us. Sometimes as widely thought with covid they manage to jump species. All are evolving all of the time but many changes are not favourable to them. Some are.

So they take samples from patients and sequence them to look for changes and see what it does to people. Many are different. They have been able to tell which part of the world some one was infected in more or less since covid started.

They have been coming and going since covid started. Nothing new at all but the vaccines still work ;) why - intended to get our bodies to react to the spike protein it needs to have. In practice while it may come up with something where it doesn't the best option for a virus would be another type. There will be others in the future. It's just that no one knows when.

Did you not say everyone should have a free choice? Are you unhappy some chose to be vaccinated?

That's Ellal's logic - people must have free choice, but if their free choice is the opposite of his opinions, then they are stupid idiots following the flock.

Ellal will be pleased to know you agree with him.

By the way, you should read Nemisis' post to see what people who disagree with him are.

Actually by making certain things more difficult to do - eg vaccine passports and others they are limiting a persons free choice anyway as the changes can make it more difficult for them to do certain things.

People who refuse to be vaccinated are also interfering with other people's freedom.

Not really. It will be the fault of the Government for introducing such a pointless thing.

Will the passports indicate who is infectious or not?

Will they be required to enter a supermarket? If not, why not?
How have they managed so far?

People who refuse to be vaccinated are also interfering with other people's freedom.
Only if you regard that as freedom and do not believe the passport introduction itself is the primary objective regardless.

Now might be a good time to start a turnstile manufacturing company. There are a lot of entrances out there; they won't want to employ millions of 'bouncers'.

Apart from the moral and ethical considerations, have people really thought about the practicalities of all this?

In the future, will the passport be tweaked to only allow those who have had a booster and then again for next year's vaccine variant?
There will never be a time when everyone will have had all the necessary requirements all at once even if all were willing.
