I've not seen anyone on else on here with his unique style of posting. I vaguely recall in his final posts that his wife had become terminally ill.
I seem to remember him saying she was losing her eyesight so one day when they were out on a day trip in Wales somewhere, they came across a cottage with a view that she liked. It was only £650k so he practically bought it there and then with some loose change he had in his pocket so that his wife could enjoy some views while she still had some sight. Then I think he said he was off to advise Elon Musk on some of his business interests …..

My personal favourites were being in the SAS and inventing the internet.

What about apprehending Gary Glitter and being neighbours with Nigel Mansell? Oh, and he was a pop star in the 80’s and released a record once that we all must have made love to our partners to. And that time he changed historical fact when he challenged British heritage or some such organisation about the use of longbows in a certain battle. He was one of the very few people in the U.K. to have a licence for an automatic assault rifle and his shooting instructor invented the 'double tap' method of dispatching someone and taught that method to the SAS. He came out with something new every day.

I'd forgotten about them.
