You won't see this on the BBC

Yep. that's what I heard too - some vaccinated people are still getting covid, but only with mild symptoms.

Things are looking promising.

They might have a rather big crash as Japan did but they have an enormous population. Domestic market size is one of the aspects that keeps the USA's boat afloat. Also that as they had so much gold that the USD became the currency of the world. Both have had some odd effects. Japan for instance at their peak bought and sold USD to maintain it's value. China have loads of them. The UK's reserve is interesting as well. The entire foreign currency reserve was worth "186655.93 USD Million in December"

The videos show GDP. In some respects a countries trade deficit doesn't matter any more. They gets mentioned and that's about it.
The strength of a currency depends on peoples confidence in it, once people lose confidence it can collapse.
The American dollar as the worlds no1 reserve currency is not guaranteed.
The tendency by modern American goverments to use the dollar to punish and coerce other states is leading to some to conclude their interests may be better served by reducing their exposure to the dollar.iThe EU s apparently looking for ways get rid of the dollar for international transactions.

Maybe but compare the BBC site when there is a negative bit of news about the UK or the gov or all the negative 'maybe's' and 'could-do's' about Brexit.

Or any other news source unless it's a newspaper with political bias so why not just read those. If the left was in power maybe you might think they are wonderful.

They just report news. Often bad what's new? Same from other similar sources.

Are you drunk?

The BBC is a public service, and should be reporting all news accurately, not selectively.

ha ha ha!
It is well known that the BBC are selective in what the report, have you been under a stone for the past 20+ years?

Which news reports in particular are the BBC inaccurately reporting?

Just a couple of examples so I can compare to say Sky News, please.

I'm glad you brought that up! I have never been a conspiracy theorist, you'll probably find lots of examples from old threads like that one.
What has changed is simple..this is not a conspiracy theory! Trump had a landslide win in the election blatantly stolen from him. There is mountains of unarguable irrefutable evidence to prove it.
The fact that most of the world believes that Biden won is testimony to the power of big tech and the mainstream media to form opinions, by hiding the truth, and by telling lie after lie after lie, all in tandem.
When you realise that virtually all of the main stream media are complete and utter liars, you wonder what else they are lying about.

A conspiracy theorist, clutching in this case to highly dangerous and wrong theories. A total nutter.

LMAOOoo..Believe as long as you like for as long as you like does not make stuff true.

The role of the BBC is to tell the nation who their enemies are, it used to be the Russians but lately the Chinese are getting all the stick.

The BBC is just the same as other news sources really. The recent Brexit failings for instance. Reported and gov asked for a response. Teething problems which from the entire report is correct. That just leaves paperwork delays at ports which they also showed. I can't see why this should "worry" some. It is better reporting than many other sources but perhaps in this case some don't want to hear about troubles on the way to their personal view of utopia. They like others present facts and sometimes people don't want to hear about them due to their own personal views. They sometime mess up - Cliff Richards for instance where they reported that the police were investigating him. The problem there was peoples reaction to the fact that it was happening but that's people. There has been others that have had the same problem.

So net effect the BBC is seen as reliable news source more or less world wide. Then you have outfits like Fox News who are very similar to newspapers that have a strong political bias. What the BBC do effectively sets a standard that other domestic channels have to try and match.

Then there is reporting about gay and other people. Some see this as lefty but it's going on and the fact that it is has nothing to do with the BBC. They don't make laws. In other areas away from news they and for that matter C4 are supposed to air minority views anyway. Many other sources do as well.

Hancock was asked by a reporter about the WHO's comments regarding being "on the brink of a moral catastrophic failure” for its unequal sharing of COVID-19 vaccinations.
It seemed like one of the usual reporter questions trying to catch out rather than inform.
Anyway, the reply was the the UK is the major contributor to the programme of ensuring the vaccine is available to the poorer countries. Something to be proud of, a positive news item for the UK but something that seems to have been missed by the BBC.
Yeah, and way back in March 2020, Johnson said that the UK will beat this virus within a few weeks. He kept repeating the mantra throughout the summer that it would all be over in a few weeks.
He finished by saying the rules would be looked at again in three weeks - when they might be relaxed if they had worked.

Michael Gove told broadcasters that the situation would be reviewed on 2 December, and when asked whether this meant the initial four-week lockdown might be extended, he gave a short, three-letter answer: “Yes.”
We do not wish to preempt that review, and No 10 has since insisted that the new measures will end on time, but it should be taken into account that when Boris Johnson announced the previous lockdown in March, he made it very clear it was only supposed to last for three weeks. It lasted 12.

These things are impossible for even the best of us to predict, answers were demanded, so best guesses were made. No one has a working crystal ball and can predict the future with certainty.

Buffoon does have a tendency to spout optimistic bluster unrelated to reality or truth.

It might be acceptable in an author of humorous fiction.

Not for someone with serious responsibilities for the nation.
