What was the goal of Brexit?

Poor argument that. Most people didn't know what they were voting for on the first vote. Whatever they say. I don't buy this British rigid obsession with democracy and rules. Most other countries under a similar situation would just ignore the result or have another referendum. This is common sense. Insular Brits however lol 'We must follow the rules'.

In the first world war people left the trenches to certain death because it was the rules so they did the right thing. We all look back and know that now. Haha
You do realise that you don't come across as British don't you so where are you from and how old are you?

What about Farage. Why is he so popular? He can't answer the economic questions on leaving the EU. His answers on this topic are poor. All he says is 'why haven't we left yet' and gets cheers. The only thing he says which makes sense is his immigration answers. Why arent other politicians addressing this issue properly or dealing with it?

I personally think if they can't answer the economic questions we shouldn't go down the road of ruining our economy by leaving the EU. This makes no sense.

That's cos' I'm well travelled and speak a lot to people from other countries. I'm not an insular Brit but certainly am British. Forties. The best way for u understand your country is to look at it from the outside. I would say if you haven't lived abroad and mixed with non Brits for a few years it's hard to really know your own country.

Ok, so you say ignore the result as other countries would do then the soldiers shouldn't fight but give up in WW1 and you won't answer questions about yourself.
TROLL!

Read above.

Well it was all pretty pointless wasn't it the first world war! And that was an analogy I made which we have a choice at with Brexit

No point in continuing with this if you are so anti Britain.

Very Pro British mate. I love Britain. Again from living abroad for so long has strengthened my feeling for it. Consequently, I don't want the economy ruined by us leaving. If leaving meant the economy would be strong I'd be up for it. I dont like the EU just being pragmatic. We can't leave!

I voted leave to make a protest against immigration levels. Mostly non-EU numbers coming in. I never thought leave would win. I regretted it straight away. I want another referendum. I'll vote remain.
I voted to leave, but regret it now -there are no good options and Brexit is being led by a lying bunch of self serving Tories.

Immigration has been encouraged: our economy thrives on it.

And then you would want another if that one didn’t turn out to your satisfaction.

Whats wrong with another referendum.
If there is another one, you can vote leave again -so whats the problem?

3 years of stalemate in parliament, which a referendum could sort out.

Sure but

the levels of immigration into this country are abnormal compared to other countries. That makes it questionable. Not everything is about making money. Tensions, losing our identity are more important. Future Brits wont thank us for allowing this to happen. I think people need to look internationally to understand this.

Yes but the issue of immigration levels has little to do with the EU freedom of movement and everything to do with the Blair and subsequent Tory governments for not exercising controls.

Immigration has been weaponised by government and the likes of the Daily Mail. Why? Simply to deflect blame from the Tories.

Brexit wont affect immigration levels, just change the countries of origin
