What are you drinking tonight?

I've always been suspicious of "celebrity" wines.

Is it any good? And can you get as good for less because you're not paying a premium to line the celebrity's knicke pockets?

That is one of the most well known and it isn't smoky or peaty. If you find that a bit harsh, then you probably are not going to like Scotch whisky.

What do you mean you don't like smokey?

You'll be telling me next you don't like TCP.

Maybe not tonight, but should probably think of drinking it soon.

2018 vintage is currently £24 (half-bottle) in Waitrose.

No a whisky drinker but its tradition to take it with water - that is why there is a massive whisky jug collectors thing going on - the jug contains water and has the whisky brand on it.
I find a lot of good whiskey can’t handle much if any water. They tend to loose flavour.

The really Smokey ones can handle a bit, but I find a large ice cube does the job better.

I find bourbon better

nowadays.

It is actually a very nice Rosé in my opinion. (Plus it was on special offer this week, £7.50 instead of £9.50). Have bought it plenty of times before when not on an offer. You can’t get much for £7.50 these days.

I loved Bourbon as well.

But ice totally changes the flavour profile of any whisky and I never liked it.

I like ice in a very Smokey whisky.

Bourbon is straight. The one in my pic is the best I’ve had.
