Brexit fatigue

There are some people who think that "no-deal" will be a clean break and it's all over.

but it actually means the beginning of many years of negotiation with the EU
This is the bit that is never explained to No Deal quitters. The first thing any government will need to do is begin negotiations with the EU.

It's astonishing just how naïve some folk are.

The problem is the EU doesn't want to negotiate.

You are silly.
The EU/UK have negotiated a deal. It took years of many meetings and talks.
The EU have negotiated deals with other trading nations.
The EU DOES negotiate trade deals. The UK has a deal on the table but does not want it. Silly Vinty lives in a cave surrounded by fellow trolls.

You mean, the EU doesn't want to negotiate again. The negotiations are over, we had 2 years and what has been agreed with the EU must therefore either be agreed by UK parliament or abandoned. That's how deals work, and the negotiating for article 50 is set in law, laws that we helped make.

"EU leaders insist that, by this point (OCTOBER 31), the UK must choose whether to ratify the exit treaty, opt for a no-deal Brexit, or cancel its departure.
The deadline is not arbitrary. As Mr Macron pointed out, the end of October begins a new five-year political cycle in Brussels, as a new European Commission takes office.

It's that simple. Negotiations are over. The EU needs to move on, EU parliament opened today, it needs to redistribute the seats we leave to other countries - they cannot put their parliament on hold while we sit around moaning and whinging.

We have 3 options, leave with the deal agreed, no deal, stay in the EU.

Place you bets now!

There is no deal, what has been negotiated so far has not been endorsed by the British parliament.
Look up the definition of agreement.

The pathetically childish brexit party MP's turned their backs on the EU this morning....

Whilst of course taking EU wages

that is true. So unless parliament change their minds about the "deal", there are two options: hard brexit, cancel brexit.

One will result in economic and political suicide, the other will result in some people moaning about the death of democracy.

Hmmm, I wonder what the politicians will choose to do.

That's our bad luck and not down to a lack of effort from the EU. They are saying accept the deal on offer, stay in or leave without any deal whatsoever.

The irony is that if we leave without taking the deal on offer, the UK will be begging the EU to begin trade negotiations. We won't get better terms than we have now.

I wouldn't be surprised if they go for 'economic and political suicide', because it won't affect the ruling classes...

But rather than the other option being thought of as the 'death of democracy', it's actually the other way around...

Because democracy dies when people are denied the right to change their mind!

I think most leavers must be dreaming of becoming farmers - it's all part of the plan.

Silly Vinty can't make up his mind. Vinty's opinions are not to be taken seriously.(y)
Taking my comments out of context as usual, perhaps I should have said that the EU is refusing to negotiate further even though their offer to Mrs May was thrown out by Parliament by a record majority.
Look up the definition of the word deal ,without the consent of both parties there is no deal.
The EU should be back at the negotiating table if they want to avoid a no deal.
