London cyclists dropping like flies

Well I looked at it, but I cannot see any explanation of the causes of injuries and deaths

At a guess I'd say "getting hit by, or run over by a bus".

B*ll*x, most of these people who cycle to work in London do so for the same reason some people put stupid little wind turbines on their roof.
Because some d,head politician has told them it's the green thing to do, look at that clown Boris Johnson or various other top politicians who love to be snapped riding a bike.
That's all very well, but it's not feckin safe. As can be seen by the fatality figures.

Sooey... I really think the major reason for cycling to work there is because of congestion/parking... a 15min bike ride and park there can take 30-40mins by car before even finding a parking place... it is better in that situation to cycle to work but not worth putting your life on the line

You pretentious little middle class snob.

Plenty of people struggle to make ends meet, cycling is a way that they can get to work or otherwise travel in an affordable mannor.

It's not "feckin safe" because of attitudes like yours.

**** poor people, that's all you are saying.

First time anyones ever called me that.

No dhead! It's not feckin safe because painting a few lines on roads full of heavy traffic and encouraging people to ride bikes along them can only lead to accidents.

**** poor people, that's all you are saying.

**** the people who are dying or being maimed right now is what you're saying.

I have never said that.

It is sad when someone dies in an accident, or from disease, or anything else.

UK road deaths are fairly low, which is to be applauded. Thank gods we don't live in Mumbai or Manilla.

Spade a spade

No dhead! It's not feckin safe because painting a few lines on roads full of heavy traffic and encouraging people to ride bikes along them can only lead to accidents.

And why are those lines being painted, why are stupid cycle lanes being crammed in unsuitable spaces, because of plonkers like you who think "bikes shouldnt be on the road", enforcing the attitude of dick head drivers to drive like dick heads, and making it less safe for cyclists.

**** the people who are dying or being maimed

quite.

No, it's because there's a d*ck head called Boris Johnson who has it as a pet project.
His legacy is costing peoples lives.

I'm pretty sure it's drivers hitting the cyclists, not boris, I think we'd hear about that.

Plenty of other countries have cycle lanes, and safe cycling, UK chav drivers seem to think "cycle lanes = cyclists have no rights to be near/on roads.".

The Netherlands have lots of cycle lanes.

Guess which country has a higher rate of road deaths than the UK?
