Winter of Discontent (202)2

Where is your local hospital?
In my town, but I don't give personal info out, I thought you knew that.

If it helps, a large hotel in the town centre has been given out to house immigrants, and been discussed by our local (right wing) MP, in discussion times. So it's not like I'm far removed from the immigrant issue.

Except my one, named, proudly boasts an interpreter service. Do you think they would offer that if they all spoke English?
There is an interpreter service throughout the nhs, and the police, and probably councils too.

So what do you think you proved?

Just an anecdote, and you have told us what they are worth

Any reason you won’t even name the town you are in? Think you’re going to be tracked down?
If I don't release personal info, yes I won't get tracked down, or targeted in any way.

If you realised the amount of personal info you have posted on here alone, then you ought to think more about internet safety

MP's aren't going on strike so don't bother with the whataboutery.

The train drivers are well paid for doing not much more than flicking a switch. They may want more money, everyone does, but seriously do they deserve it? No chance.
Think you're being dismissive.

All you do is cut pieces of wood with a saw (or whatever it is you do).
It's not worth what you get paid.

MPs are not striking because they voted for their own lovely fat pay rise, thank you very much.

Can you see the hypocrisy?

You can't have a pay rise and you can't have a pay rise and neither can you.

But we can!

But we can!

There must be some reason why employment relations have got so bad that even the nurses are striking..

Can anyone guess what it is?

Remember when Tory MPs cheered after blocking a pay rise for NHS?

"Public sector pay cap: The pay rate had been frozen at one per cent since 2010, seven long years.
Every Tory MP except one voted against Labour’s motion, which came during Theresa May’s stint as prime minister."

But we were "all in it together"

Right?

MPs got a 10% backdated pay rise
