Both sides want the best of both sides. Out but free trade, smaller but same money.

I don't think it would be too unkind to remind 25 countries of the EU that if it had not been for Great Britain and the rest of the English speaking world, they would all be speaking German now (with one possible exception - Spain). Still, *English* is the international language (much to the chagrin of the French - and no apologies for the use of a French word here either), not Krautish! The ones I feel sorry for are the former Warsaw Pact countries who saw the EU as liberation from the communist jackboot only to find, like Animal Farm, there was no difference between them!

That's right, rub their noses in it, and P**s them off even more. Why do you think the French hate us; we either beat them, or liberate them; either way, we show them up. Apart from Spain (ref Gibralter) I don't think the rest are that bothered about us one way or the other.
But there's a little bit of difference for the former Warsaw countries; Germany only tells them what to do, it doesn't send in the tanks to make sure they do it.

If you work for a company with a pension scheme, then it is for the company to make provisions for that pension, not for the company to go to their customers to demand that the customer pays for the staffs pensions... If the EU haven't made provision, then it is none of our concern.
