Rape is a very serious crime, I personally don't think it's right for date rape or relationship rape. If you want more prosecutions you need a different crime.

It's not right that a person who failed to get consent from his drunken date is treated the same as a person hiding in the bushes to pounce.
So, for example, if someone in married or seeing an abuser and he rapes her, it's a lesser crime? Someone goes on a date and flirts, gets drunk and the next thing that happens is she has a bloke on top of her? She is drunk and not capable of making informed decisions, such is the way of alcohol. A decent bloke will look after her, not rape her.

Rape is rape. There is no incident where it's ok nor a lesser crime which is why it isn't treated as such in the eyes of the law. (apparently). Stranger rape isn't common. Being raped by someone you know & trust is far more common. It's still rape.

Can a 20yr old woman rape a teenage boy? Yes if you want to call it statutory rape.

Makes no difference. Age of consent is 16. Until then they are still classed as a child, rightly so and the 20 year old woman, providing Noseall isn't talking about late teens, should know better - she's a nonce.

The UK has been raped by the EU for decades now. The silly banner wavers gave the consent.
Now its payback time.
No more the free cash cow too milk.

The reason there is such a robust attitude to prosecuting rape is because juries won't convict.

A 16yo having sex with a 15yo should be different to a 30yo having sex with a 15yo, a failure to get consent after a boozy date should be different to someone breaking in and abusing you in your bed (which happens a lot more than you think). A couple in a toxic relationship should also be different. We have a graded model for unlawful killing, if you want juries to convict then i'm afraid that is likely to be the price.

Whether anyone here agrees or not doesn't really matter - if a jury won't send someone to prison for 10 years for what they think is a a different crime.

The jury do not pass sentence, only guilty or not.
The judge passes sentence and they have the authority to give a lesser sentence depending on the severity of the case.
There are also appeal procedures against sentences being too harsh or too lenient.
