I know people in the forces and they have mostly dropped from 48 to 24 hour standby. Some less. They are expecting to set up humanitarian and logistics inside Ukraine once a stable refugee zone has been set up. I suspect without any evidence at all, we already have special forces on the ground as do the US. You wont be seeing their hits on Youtube and tiktok

Ukraine has said Russia's proposal on humanitarian corridors taking refugees to Belarus or Russia was "completely immoral".
Ukrainian citizens should be allowed to leave their homes through Ukrainian territory, a spokesman for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
"This is a completely immoral story. People's suffering is used to create the desired television picture," the spokesman said in a written message quoted by Reuters news agency.

Some people like to make out that the war in Ukraine is simple matter of a large country invading a small country.
They seem to forget that there was a war going on before Putins invasion.
Ukraine is a divided country along ethnic lines, some want to be part of the West, others want to be part of Russia.
No matter who is in Charge of Ukraine there will still be conflict.
The only real solution is to partition the country.

Putin was fooled by his cronies as the fear him ie putin was told there was massive support for Russians in the rest of the Ukraine just like there is in Crimea and Donbas. However, anyone with the internet can tell that Crimea was over 80% pro Russian ad I think Donbas was about 70% - but the remanider of ukrinian states vary between 10 to 30% hence the fighting etc and even the Russian in Ukriane do not want their homes/lives destroyed
