Whisky barrels!

The reason Bourbon tastes so different to Scotch is that it has to be matured in brand new oak barrels, which give it the very distinct flavour. The barrels are also charred to give that dark colour. They then sell the used Bourbon barrels to the Scotch whisky distillers, to mature Scotch.

OMG yes I forgot about that. Its bank holiday weekend, he goes to the scrap yard with his horse and cart and cashes in his bounty. His horse isnt in the best of shape so he is probably still travelling home.
 
After going to my local late last night for the last hour (closes at midnight), I found they had run out of Doom Bar. Had to drink Thatcher's Gold instead. Taking no chances tonight after stocking up with a box of DB cans from Asda earlier. Cheers!

Zero Guinness is very good, considering.

My Mum loves Guinness, has been drinking it years. I gave her some zero percent recently and she didn't even realise it was AF!

The Becks blue is also very good for an AF lager.
It's the only one I've tried that actually tastes nice, or very similar to the real thing.
