Does God exist? I say yes -
but I'm not convinced that God sent us a book with instructions

I've attached a poll, please vote!

Blooming Nora.. I've been accused of being about 10 different ex-members - ironically all the accusations come from people who joined this forum in 2010.

You guys are soooo paranoid. not healthy

I tend towards "no" for one simple reason.

I cannot believe that He would lovingly create all the living things that exist, for some of them to cause pain, misery and death to others.

I'm not talking about human to human either, which could be explained as giving them free will.

I also support the big bang theory and evolution.

Well here's thing - from your statement above I think you do actually believe in god. Let me explain. Here's three slightly different statements
  1. 'I believe the universe was created by god'
  2. 'I believe the universe was created by a big bang'
  3. 'I believe the universe was created by something'
My contention is all three statements are actually the same. The only difference between your belief and my belief is semantics. You call it 'big bang' I call it 'god', somebody else might call it 'a creator'. Whether or not this creator is moral or responsible for our misery or happiness is a moot point as far as this topic is concerned.

I think you actually believe in a creator - you just feel uncomfortable using the word 'god' and prefer to use 'big bang' instead.

I was wondering how people arrived at that belief.
some people like gardening, some people are heroin addicts, some people play football, some people believe in god, some people are even electricians......

why? buggered if I know, above my pay grade I reckon :ROFLMAO:

There's no reason to believe in a God, and if one did exist then it's not something that deserves praise or worship.
