Mrs Mottie ordered online from Tesco this week. She just goes on strength - the weaker the better for her. This one was just 12% 
and she paid...£7! Completely blown the budget. Was alright though - went well with my Lamb shanks with root vegetables and red wine gravy, dauphinois potatoes and creamed cabbage.

I’m on it early this week! I had to go out to forage for tonight’s tea at Sainsbury’s as our weekly shop from Tesco wasn’t being delivered until 7.00 onwards. I hunted down a beef bourguignon ready meal with a bottle of house Shiraz at £4.50. Not one of my favourites but I just fancied a change. Mind you, Mrs Mottie played a blinder this week - she ordered 6 bottles from Tesco as it was 25% off 6 bottles or more. Happy days.

Vouvray from Tesco. Went nice with my prawn pasta. Normally £7 but but Mrs Mottie bought 6 mixed bottles this week and got 25% off so it was only £5.25.
