What are you drinking tonight?

I have just ordered a barley wine homebrew kit. Not brewed any for 30 odd years, but I remember it being quite potent - when I could remember it :)

Knew a bloke who lived on a boat in a marina in Poole, he was known as 'Barley wine Bob'. The bar owner ordered the stuff in just for him, probably the only person I've seen drinking barley wine since the early 70's.

White Rioja.
I’m going to have some of that with crisps, classy eh?

Malbec. Finished the bottle off with some cheese and crackers after my meal - much to the wine Nazi's annoyance. :cautious:

Vouvray. Yuk, I think it was 50/50 wine and sugar. Like a bloody dessert wine it was - I had to finish it off so there would be none left for tomorrow.

Dining alone tonight - Mrs Mottie has gone to the O2 to see Mamma Mia - the party, with her mates so just one beer with my mussels in creamy white wine with warm crusty bread. Daren't open a bottle of wine cos I’ll probably finish it and I’ve got to pick her up from the station later. I’ll either be too ****ed to drive or I’ll fall asleep and forget!

We don’t normally drink on a Monday but as I was making a risotto that needed 50ml of white wine, I had to crack open a bottle of Muscadet. ;) Of course, it’d be rude not to have some before it went off……..
