Just because they can't spell gravy.
My tasting session last night went well. The Petronus was my favourite, left a slight aftertaste at the back of my throat which reminded me of whisky. The other two were both very nice, though I think they were a bit too cold, seemed to taste better the longer they were out in the glass. Still prefer Hoegaarden, but a change is as good as a rest. Will definitely be having them again.

I don't think I've got any,
It could be a mixture of JD Fire and Spice with a mongrel whiskey.

Maybe I'll settle for a glass of vin rouge.
Naah, it's not the same. I've gone off the idea now.

Down the pub tonight for the quiz, so slumming it with San Miguel.

Popped in the local, and supped a couple of pints of Joule's Beer Tonic no. 37.

A Spanish rum Amazona 53 % proof, real molassy and chocolaty after my spicy stir fry with chorizo, slept well last night!

But somebody gave me a bottle of chocolate liqueur from CR.

The label suggests you should put it in cocktails, which I'm not keen on.

Might try a slug in coffee later.

I had to Google that. Apparently it's made from grapes, rather than the usual grain, and is also barrel aged. I wonder if that affects the flavour.
