one bale of straw to approx 4kg fresh dung should give you about the right consistency for ceilings, overdo the dung and it is liable to failing and coming down on you and your familys heads

urine is best extracted from an elderly nag preferably with a touch of kidney failure as it has fantastic adhesion qualities.

it can be used in its uncut state as the finish will be s**te anyway, also it is always advised to keep the room well ventilated after the completion of works to aid the drying process and prevent premature death from subsequent acrid fumes.
