Brewdog "Elvis Juice". (Grapefruit Infused IPA).

I'm not usually enthusiastic about craft beers with their unusual flavours, but this one is the business. I can recommend most of their other beers too, but avoid the "tangerine sour".
 
I thought the potatoes looked slightly under done.
These any better?

Did they have baking soda on them?
No. After boiling them for 10 minutes, I fork them over to rough them up. Minimum oil, a good mix up with my hands to coat them evenly, salt and black pepper, regular shake up during roasting for 50 minutes. Oh, they are my own allotment grown spuds too. (y)

And what kind of fat?
Which variety do you grow?
 
Tonight, Mrs Mottie is babysitting so I went all West Country with a ready meal for one. Pork and cider hotpot with a Somerset sauce, washed down with a Cornish ale. Proper Job. Delish! (y)
